Centauro ST

The Centauro ST radial tyre for sport touring was designed for smooth biking in the range of conditions and temperatures common across the European continent. The multi-radius profile will ensure safety and stability in all load conditions as well as uniformity of wear throughout the life of the tyre. An optimised structure with a zero-degree steel belt provides high-quality dynamic behaviour in all conditions, including at maximum speed and maximum lean angle.

To ensure it would be highly versatile and suitable for different types of use, the Centauro ST was put through its paces in a wide range of climatic conditions on both European and Indian tracks. Testing took place in different environmental conditions (on public roads and proving grounds) in various motorbike segments (sports touring, naked, sport, crossover, classic, etc.) and took into consideration interactions with the most modern electronic vehicle control systems available (ABS pro, cornering ABS, traction control and riding mode).

The Centauro ST will be available in the first quarter of 2020 in the size 120/70 ZR 17 (58W) TL for front wheels and 180/55 ZR 17 (73W) TL for rear wheels, the latter in a standard one-ply version and a two-ply configuration for heavy motorcycles and/or luggage.
